Machine Learning and Text Mining as Knowledge Management enabling Technology
The project aims at promoting a Research & Development activity through the creation of an innovative infrastructure capable of enhancing Knowledge Management in the financial business area. With the new technology made available by HERMES 2, the user will be able to:
- Explore huge collections of textual documents, identifying the most relevant information for specific customers and learning new research strategies
- Analyze free textual documents, extracting knowledge from them, classifying them according to predefined categories, or grouping them in subject matter classes based on their affinity
- Distribute detected documents and extracted information based on their contents and their affinity with users' interests
- Monitor how documents and information are used, so that new strategies can automatically be identified in order to constantly improve the service provided.
