After the great success of the first course, Federico Neri is again invited to teach Open Source Intelligence doctrine at Frontex, the EU agency based in Warsaw. Frontex has been created as a specialised and independent body tasked to coordinate the operational cooperation between Member States in the field of border security. This OSINT course makes use of formal presentations, visualization techniques, methodological and systematic training and awareness, case studies on real-threat scenarios, hands-on exercises and interactive discussions. This course will be held in Warsaw in 2nd-3rd December 2010.

This congress, promoted by the Department of Statistics, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Florence, the Italian Statistical Society, will be held in Florence the next 8-10 of september 2010, hosted at the Cellai Hotel. Federico Neri and Furio Camillo will present a Sentiment Analysis and Web Reputation study, which monitors newspapers and magazines opinion on the italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

Federico Neri takes part to the Programme Committee for "Social Network Mining, Analysis and Research Trends: Techniques and Applications", edited by I-Hsien Ting, Tzung-Pei Hong and Leon S.L. Wang, National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This book will be published by IGI Global.
